My name is Vanessa Myers and I have served as a full-time ministry leader for the past 25 years. I have served in the fields of camping ministry, youth ministry, and children’s ministry. I currently serve in Children’s Ministry and love it!
I have been blogging since 2013. I started with a blog for Children’s Ministry Leaders, then that shifted to incorporate families and faith, and now I have felt God calling me to focus on the family.
I began this blog because I find joy in equipping families for their faith journey. I love to create resources for parents to use at home with their kids. I understand the lack of time you have and hope you will find these resources easy and not time-consuming. Parents are the primary spiritual leaders for the family and I pray these resources are a guide for you as you help deepen and grow your faith, as well as the faith of your children.
Meet My Family!
God has blessed me with a wonderful family: my husband, Andrew and our 2 daughters, Rae Lynn and Shelby.
Our favorite family activity is camping! We love spending time in the mountains and playing in the river. We also love Georgia Tech (Go Jackets), Duke (well at least I do), Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Braves!
Some of my favorite activities include reading (love Kristi McLelland and Wendy Speake books), writing, organizing things, and just being with my family.
